2. What Data We Collect
We collect data you provide directly and data generated by your use of the service:
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), company name.
- Business data: website URL, product catalog, domain verification tokens.
- Content data: images you upload to the Media Library, product descriptions, generated ad images, captions, and hashtags.
- Meta/Facebook credentials: OAuth access tokens used to connect your Facebook/Instagram Business account. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- Usage data: actions performed in the app (image generations, ad posts, feature usage), timestamps, IP address, browser type.
- Billing data: subscription plan, Stripe customer ID. We do not store card numbers — payments are handled by Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the AdWizard+ service.
- To generate AI-powered ad images and copy using your product catalog and prompts.
- To publish content to your connected Instagram/Facebook accounts on your behalf.
- To send transactional emails (email verification, billing receipts).
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. AI Processing
AdWizard+ uses third-party AI models to generate images and text. Your product data, uploaded images, and prompts may be sent to these AI providers (OpenRouter and its underlying model providers) solely to fulfil your requests. We do not use your content to train AI models.
We also use OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini) to power automatic translation of CMS content. No personal or business-sensitive data is included in translation requests.
5. Data Sharing
We share your data only with the following third parties, strictly to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — publishing content and accessing your catalog via the Meta Graph API.
- OpenRouter / AI model providers — processing image generation and text requests.
- Hosting provider — server infrastructure (data processed within the EU).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated images, product data, and usage logs are retained for 12 months after the last activity, then deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 9).
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use session cookies required for authentication and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels on this platform. Anonymous analytics may be collected using server-side logs only.
8. Security
We protect your data using industry-standard measures: HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials (OAuth tokens), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection / Restriction: Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

10. International Transfers
Our servers are located in the EU. Some third-party providers (Stripe, OpenRouter) may process data outside the EU. These providers are certified under applicable frameworks (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses) ensuring adequate data protection.
11. Children's Privacy
AdWizard+ is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of AdWizard+ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
